Overview
A residents group (the Group) raised a number of concerns regarding the conduct and handling of the Inverness Local Plan Inquiry (LPI), held in 2004, by both The Highland Council (the Council) and the Scottish Executive Inquiry Reporters Unit (SEIRU) .
Specific complaints and conclusions
The complaints which have been investigated are that:
(a) the SEIRU failed in their handling of the LPI (not upheld); and
(b) the Council failed in their handling of the LPI (not upheld).
Redress and recommendation
The Ombudsman has no recommendations to make.
