Water complaints transfer to SPSO

We take on responsibility for complaints about water and sewerage providers from 15 August 2011 when Waterwatch Scotland closes.  This change results from the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 which transferred the complaints handling function of Waterwatch Scotland to the SPSO.  The customer representation function of Waterwatch Scotland transfers to Consumer Focus Scotland.  Please note that Consumer Focus Scotland does not deal directly with customer complaints or resolve individual matters.

The SPSO is the last stage for water, and other public service, complaints. We can normally only look at complaints that have first been looked at by the water or sewerage provider.  For further information please click here.
