2010-11 Ombudsman's annual letter to local authorities

On 15 December 2011, the Ombudsman, Jim Martin, issued his annual statistics letter to the Chief Executive of each local authority. He provided each Chief Executive with:

  • details of the numbers of complaints received and determined about their council in 2010-11
  • summaries of the outcome of and recommendations on all complaints for their council about which we laid a report before the Scottish Parliament in 2010-11
