We have today published our 2018-19 Annual Statistics. These detail the enquiries and complaints we received and determined in the past year. 

Highlights include:

• 4,188 complaints received
• 3,955 complaints determined
• 670 complaints investigated
• 58% of investigated complaints upheld
• 1,160 recommendations made

Our new Support and Intervention Policy will come into place on 1 April 2019.  This policy formalises the mechanisms we already use to offer support to organisations and take intervention when required.  It will offer more clarity to public bodies regarding what to expect from us, how and when.  The policy and accompanying guidance is now available at http://www.valuingcomplaints.org.uk/support-and-intervention-policy.
