We have today published our 2017-18 Annual Statistics. These detail the enquiries and complaints we received and determined in the past year.

We gave advice, support and provided signposting on 904 enquiries.

3,452 complaints were decided following detailed consideration pre-investigation.

We fully investigated 734 complaints.

The overall rate of upheld complaints increased to 58.8% this year from 54% last year.

In the coming weeks the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body will be considering the SPSO’s draft revised Strategic Plan. The revised Plan covers the SPSO’s vision and strategic aims for 2018-2020. It is available at the bottom of this page, along with the covering letter to the SPCB.
